Banca Nationala a Romaniei (BNR) va interveni cu toate instrumentele de care dispune pentru a stabiliza dobanzile din piata monetara in jurul ratei de politica monetara, in prezent situate la 1,75% pe an. In schimb, cursul va fluctua mai mult in perioada urmatoare. Guvernatorul BNR, Mugur Isarescu, a explicat schimbarea de abordare prin faptul ca, in prezent, dobanzile sunt mai importante decat cursul, avand in vedere scaderea creditului in valuta ca pondere in total sub 40%. BNR a luat, marti, o noua decizie pentru stabilizarea dobanzilor in piata monetara dup ace, la finalul lunii septembrie, indicia de referinta din piata (ROBOR) au crescut abrupt intr-un termen foarte scurt...

The dollar held on to much of its overnight gains against the yen in Asian trade Thursday, as investors await Friday’s U.S. jobs data to shape their views on the Federal Reserve’s next move.
